Method

1. 1Step : Mix the flours, butter, icing sugar, and salt together using your fingertips.
2. 2Step : Add the egg, mix, and wrap in cling film. Let rest in the fridge for 2 hours.
3. 3Step : Blend the figs, hazelnut flour, and lemon juice together.
4. 4Step : Roll out the dough into two 30x10cm rectangles.
5. 5Step : Spread the fig compote down the center, wet one edge, and fold over to form a log.
6. 6Step : Freeze for 30 min.
7. 7Step : Preheat the oven to 170°C.
8. 8Step : Cut the logs into 10 pieces.
9. 9Step : Bake for 45 minutes.
